Atlanta events I've drawn.

Atlanta is home. It's where I live, where I work, and where I’ve made a good chunk of my favorite visual notes. A few of them:

TEDx Atlanta

Sixteen visual notes across the 2025 programme, including Leon Prieto's talk on rethinking capitalism, and Jordan Arogeti’s talk on identifying your support language.

NABE Atlanta 2025

Digital visual notes of the panel conversation in main auditorium, two break-room sessions, and the final award session. One full day, three different rooms.

Georgia Conservancy

A traditional interactive board for a Georgia Conservancy fundraising gala, drawn on foam core board based on the audience responses about their favorite places and memories in Georgia.

Refuge Coffee

Refugee Coffee celebrated their anniversary leaning into storytelling to share their impact in Atlanta. Alejo drew the sentiment of the audience live in an interactive board.

What is it

What a graphic recorder actually does

While your speaker talks, I draw. Not afterwards, not from a transcript — live, in the room, as the ideas land. By the time the session ends, there's a finished visual summary on the wall or on the screen.

People call it different things: graphic recording, visual notes, sketchnoting, live scribing, live illustration. Same craft. What matters is what it does for your event — it gives attendees something to look at, something to photograph, and something to take away that isn't a slide deck nobody opens.

The board becomes the thing people gather around at the coffee break. It's also the thing that ends up on LinkedIn with your event hashtag on it.

Why local matters

Most graphic recorders you'll find online are flying in from somewhere else, and you're paying for it — flights, hotels, a travel day either side. Being local means no travel costs for Atlanta events, and it means I can come by beforehand if you want to walk the space and work out where the boards should live.

For big paper work, that site visit makes a real difference: ceiling height, sightlines and where people will actually stand are things you can only judge in person. It also means I can be there really early.

No weather delays, no missed connections, no jet lag. And when you need me elsewhere — I travel. Atlanta has the busiest airport in the world and it connects everywhere. It is home, not a limit.

Bilingual services

In English y en Español

I was born and raised in Costa Rica and I'm fully bilingual. If your Atlanta event runs in Spanish, or switches between both languages, I can draw in whichever language the speaker is using — and I can hand you the same board with text in either.

For companies with teams across Latin America, this tends to be the detail nobody expects and everybody appreciates.

Pricing ranges

Investment

Flat fees that cover everything but lodging. For Georgia, there’s no lodging fee as long as the event is within metro Atlanta area.

Travel is included for events booked two months or more in advance. For Atlanta events, there's no travel to include.

Short sessions, remote work and smaller projects start at $3,700.

A full visual experience partnership across a multi-day conference production (pre-event assets, visual experience design, live capture, on-stage storytelling, post-event content, etc…) can run up to $50,000.

Most events land somewhere in between. Tell me what you're planning and I'll tell you where you'd fall.

How it works

Even though my SEO is going to hurt a bit, I’d rather show you how it works rather than writing it. Check out the video below to see the process.
